Premise

Plaxis is a game that I quite literally whipped together- it took me, from start to finish, four days to make the game. The goal is to collect all the coins before time runs out, but the catch is that there are two types of coins: Some are faded, while others are solid; only the solid coins may be collected. Pressing a button switches the types of coins. It's hard to explain (and probably even harder to read, my apologies). But believe me- you'll pick it up quickly if you just play it. Arcade-style platform exploration at its finest!

History

Plaxis was a side project that I worked on while taking a break from A Day in the Life of Bob 2. I can't exactly explain what provoked me to begin the project, but the idea kind of took off rapidly, and I was able to put it all together over the course of a long weekend. Looking back now, there's so much more I could have done with the game. I suppose it's possible that I'll create a sequel, but don't get your hopes up!

Influences

Plaxis, being an arcade-style game, was inspired by arcade classics such as Mappy and Pacman.
